UK Facilities Solutions Awarded New Social Housing Fencing Contract for Lewes District and Eastbourne Borough Councils Homes First
UK Facilities Solutions Ltd are delighted to announce that we have been awarded the new fencing contracts for the Lewes District Council and Eastbourne Borough Council social housing portfolios, commencing 1st April 2026.
This is an exciting opportunity for our team and an important step forward in supporting local authority housing maintenance across East Sussex. We are proud to have been selected and look forward to working in partnership with Homes First to deliver a high-quality, reliable service for residents.
Supporting Communities Across Lewes District and Eastbourne
Social housing plays a vital role in providing safe and secure homes for individuals and families. Maintaining these properties to a consistently high standard is essential, and external works such as fencing are a key part of creating safe, well-managed neighbourhoods.
Fencing and boundary works help to improve privacy, protect gardens and communal spaces, and support residents in feeling secure in their homes. Through this new contract, UK Facilities Solutions will deliver fencing repairs, replacements, and associated works across both council housing portfolios, with a strong focus on quality and responsiveness.

Working in Partnership with Homes First
A key part of this contract is our partnership with Homes First, supporting housing services for both councils.
Homes First also manages Homes First Lettings, the choice-based lettings website for Lewes District Council and Eastbourne Borough Council. This platform replaces Homemove and enables residents to search and bid for available social housing in a more streamlined and accessible way.
This improved approach reflects a wider commitment to delivering better housing services and support for local residents.
